There are over 260 Chamber members, working to provide positive service to their clients and create a positive business climate on San Juan Island. Working together allows our collective voice to be heard, our businesses to be promoted and our personnel to be trained.

The Chamber is often the first contact for anyone interested in San Juan Island, whether it be visiting, relocation or business related. Chamber members are listed in the Chamber's Membership Directory by name and by business category, making it easy for potential clients to identify those who can help them with their needs.

The Chamber web site will list your business, giving you worldwide exposure. Our web site, sanjuanisland.org, receives around a 3000 hits each week.

The Chamber will display your brochures and literature inside our downtown location as a service to you. Each year the downtown office/visitor center receives over 16,000 visitors.

The Chamber office serves as both a visitor information center and as our professional business office, and is open year-round. When asked for a referral, office staff and volunteers will promote and direct visitors to Chamber members first.

The Chamber office staff and volunteers answer phones and assist visitors with their email requests and by mailing information packages. These trained individuals are dedicated to providing a positive service to those who are interested in the island, and to your business.

The Chamber Board arranges monthly member meetings with speakers and refreshments. Our monthly meetings are an excellent opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members and learn what is going on with the business community, as well as learning new things from experienced speakers.

All Chamber members receive a Membership Directory. This directory is an excellence tool for identifying other Chamber members for your own needs or the needs of your clients.

As a Chamber Member you will receive discounted rental rates at all Hertz Car Rentals. Whether traveling off-island for business or personal reasons where you might need a rental car, this benefit has the potential of saving you money.

Chamber Members can choose to participate in the credit card services of Electronic Payment Systems at competitive chamber rates. This Member selected option can save you money on your credit card charges and earns the Chamber a small amount for its operational support.

Chamber Members can advertise their business in the Chamber's visitor information brochure system. Advertising with the Chamber is an excellent way to promote your business while helping the Chamber to raise operational funds.

Chamber Members receive partial reimbursement on tuition for business related workshops and courses. Chamber funds have been set aside to help you and your employees learn and develop new skills that will make you more successful. Please contact our office for more information.
