Seven Sisters: Return of the Matriarchy

November 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Event Series (See All)

We welcome you to join us as Se'Si'Le and Friends of the San Juans bring back to the San Juan Islands the Seven Sisters: Return of the Matriarchy for this capstone event of the 2026 campaign. The Sisters are prominent Indigenous women from Alaska, the Salish Sea region, the Columbia River basin, and the Amazon basin who have dedicated their lives to environmental justice, re-storying our obligation to Nature, and caretaking for future generations our kin-centric relations with the Creation.

This two-day interisland event will take place at Brickworks, in Friday Harbor WA, and will be a time for Herstory-telling, song and ceremony, and words of wisdom to inspire unity, community, hope and engagement.
