Mission and Vision

Mission: The Mission of the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce is to accelerate business growth through connections, advocacy, and professional development.

Vision: To lead the way for a vibrant community where business thrives.

Our Chamber promotes local prosperity by:
- Supporting economic development working with community partners on issues related to education, workforce development, housing and transportation.
- Working with local, regional and statewide groups such as the Orcas Island and Lopez Island Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Chamber of Commerce Executives, the San Juan Islands Vistitor Bureau, the San Juan County EDC, the Town of Friday Harbor and San Juan County.

The San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce was established to bring the benefits of a Chamber of Commerce to the local business owners of the community. The Chamber of Commerce has approximately 287 members and supports dozens of island events, scholarships, and programs.

Member Meetings

We have monthly member socials September through May, Quarterly Luncheons and an Annual Meeting/Holiday Party/Awards Ceremony.

BOSS: Business Owners Sharing Solutions

Once a month a small group of members meet in the Chamber's office present areas of concern and gain valuable insights and ideas from their fellow business owners.
