Building Ecosystem Resilience with Native Plants: How to Sow & Grow Local Wildflowers

October 16 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Free

Learn how to build local ecosystem resilience by growing native wildflowers! Local botanist and lifelong gardener Eliza Habegger, who manages the Salish Seeds Project for the San Juan County Conservation Land Bank, will share how native plants support pollinators, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

Eliza will demonstrate seed-sowing in containers and directly in the ground, cover the basics of seed-saving, and offer guidance on how to choose the right plants for your site. Wildflowers can thrive on farms, in pots, in backyards—even on living roofs! Participants will receive free seed samples to plant at home.

Event is FREE to all.

Light snacks provided. No registration required.
