Free Film Screening: ALL WE CARRY

January 24 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Join us for an inspiring evening at the Friday Harbor Film Festival’s Best of the Fest Series. Watch ALL WE CARRY—winner of the 2024 FHFF Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary in the Tales from the Heart category.

All We Carry (83 mins | 2023) follows a young Honduran family’s extraordinary journey as they flee violence, migrate through Mexico, claim asylum at the U.S. border, and ultimately reunite in Seattle. It’s a love story about healing, community, and marriage—showcasing how resilience and hope can overcome seemingly insurmountable odds.

Stay for a livestream Q&A with filmmaker Cady Voge via Google Meet. A freelance journalist based in Colombia, Cady focuses on immigration stories and has produced work for NBC, BBC, The Guardian, and more.

Admission is FREE; donations are welcome to help us continue providing monthly documentary screenings. All are invited—locals and visitors alike!

Visit FHFF.org for the full 2025 Best of the Fest schedule and film guide. The series is sponsored by The Journal of the San Juan Islands in collaboration with screening venues the SJI Grange and San Juan Island Library.
