We're celebrating Kitten Season at the Animal Protection Society- Friday Harbor!! Join us on Saturday May 31st from 1-3pm to snuggle with kittens, and enjoy a cup of tea and homemade treats. We'll have juice available for the kiddos. You'll also have a chance to help us name some of our new kittens! And yes, these will be adoptable kittens and cats... Just sayin'!!
While the event is free, we welcome your monetary donations as well as donations of unopened, unexpired cat food and cat litter to support our Pet Food Pantry program, which helps local families with pets in need. Suggested food donations for the event: 2-4 Cans of Fancy Feast/ 3 lb dry cat food/ Cat litter- any brand/size
What is the The Pet Food Pantry? It is a community resource created and managed by APS-FH. It is designed to help keep pets in their homes by providing cat and dog food, as well as other basic pet supplies, to families in need of temporary assistance. We also partner with Meals on Wheels to ensure that pet food and supplies reach those who cannot visit the pantry in person.
