SJIMA is excited to support the San Juan Community Theatre’s production of “Art”!
Please join us at the Museum on Sunday, February 16th after the matinee performance for a meet-and-greet with show Director Adam Parrott and SJCT Creative Director Nathan Kessler-Jeffrey.
We’ll have wine, oysters and light bites from our friends at Westcott Bay Shellfish, and great conversation about what makes great art.

What would you sacrifice for a Masterpiece?
Serge has bought a painting. It's a canvas, about five feet by four. White. And if you screw up your eyes you can see some fine white diagonal lines. When his friends Marc and Yvan find out he paid 200,000 francs for the painting, the information throws their decades-long friendship into a tailspin revolving around questions of loyalty, courtesy, and what actually makes "art"?
