Friends of the San Juans was founded in 1979 to support San Juan County's efforts to manage growth and protect natural environments.

Our mission is to help the San Juan Island community thrive through inspired and informed generosity and the Foundation?s trusted stewardship.

The San Juan Island Pride Foundation exists to foster community across LGBTQIA+ and intersecting identities and to bring much needed resources that have been lacking in our remote, rural community for decades.

The San Juan Islands Conservation District provides technical and financial assistance to the community to help bring about locally based, voluntary, and cooperative land conservation practices. Our current outreach project is the Community Solar of Our Schools.

St. David's Church is a parish of the Episcopal Church, and a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion of churches. Anglicanism is a bridge tradition, incorporating elements of both the Catholic and Reformation traditions. We are defined more by our worship traditions than by our theology, so you will find a range of theological viewpoints among our members. At St. David's, as in western Washington generally, viewpoints do tend to be more on the liberal side. The person who is likely to be comfortable here likes to make up his or her own mind, and is willing to grant others the freedom to do the same. We are home to a highly rated, non-denominational preschool, and are active supporters of community services such as the Friday Harbor Food Bank, Family Resource Center, and Severe Weather Shelter. You are invited to walk our 11-circuit garden labyrinth, modeled on famous Chartres Cathedral labyrinth, at any time, and to join us for traditional spoken worship on Sunday at 8 am, or for contemporary-language worship with music at 9:30 am. During the school year, children are invited to participate in Godly Play, a Montessori-based spiritual formation program, during the 9:30 service.

Team Heeb San Juan Island is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to supporting our neighbors affected by cancer. Together, we stand united, empowering our community to fight back against this disease and provide essential resources to those in need. When Katie Heeb faced her own battle with cancer, the San Juan Islands community rallied around her. Inspired by the outpouring of support, the Non-Profit Team Heeb was born. Our mission is to carry on that spirit of compassion and create a lasting legacy of hope.

Wolf Hollow is a non-profit organization located on San Juan Island in Northwest Washington State. We serve all of San Juan and Skagit Counties and northern Whidbey Island. Our mission: To promote the well-being of wildlife and their habitats through rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife, public education and non-invasive research.
